Job Information

Located in Fort Smith and reporting to the Residence Coordinator, the Residence Life Supervisor (RLS) makes a significant contribution to the operation of the campus and has a significant impact on the safety and security of students in housing, on campus, and in the community.  The Residence Life Supervisor is responsible for the security of all Thebacha Campus students and families, employees, visitors and property.  This includes ensuring a safe and secure environment that is conducive to the personal development and study requirements of student residents.  The RLS works within the context of the College's vision and principles, the Aurora College Policies and Procedures Manual, and in accordance with housing rules and regulations.

The knowledge, skills and abilities would normally be acquired by completion of a diploma or certificate program pertaining to security services and two (2) years' experience working in a security setting.  Completion of GED or a High School Diploma is also required.

Shift Work

This position involves a Rotating/Irregular Shift Schedule which may change due to operational requirements.

Relief Worker

This job opening is for a Relief position where there are no established hours of work on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and may be required to report to work on an as and when required basis for facilities where services operate on a daily basis throughout the entire year.

Driver's License Requirement

A mandatory requirement for this position is a valid Class 4 Driver's License

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

 

Salary Information

The salary for this position starts at $32.28 per hour (approximately $67,142.00 per annum) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $6,167.00.
